This is the first website I worked on in 2010 after finishing a one year program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. It has a unique horizontal design that hasn't handled the move to mobile and responsive design very well. It was a challenge to implement that, especially as one of my first projects after finishing at Algonquin. I'll admit it wasn't the most elegant code I've written: I was still wrapping my head around the concept of MVC at the time. Since the number of projects was dynamic, and the horizontal container had to have a fixed size to hold all of the content, I had to calculate the width and apply it in an HTML style tag. I think the end product holds up quite well, even if it only works on desktop browsers.
